Man, what more can I say other than this is stupid groovy (in a very nice sense of the word stupid). I already loved the original ?Dreamer? track from Streets of Rage II, but this puts the track on steroids. In all sincerity, this is one of Kariu?s best tracks. He really did the dayum thang with this one! Not only is it sonically impressive and appealing to the ears, you really get a feel for the game with the Axel kiyas! You know the ?AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!?. LOL. This is perfect the way it is?it?s the right tempo, right mood, and right groove to really show off why Streets of Rage 2 is a memorable game.
If you liked the Streets of Rage II track, you?ll definitely love what Kariu has to offer on his Kariu Kollection Vol 2. There are some great Street Fighter tracks, Tekken concepts, and even a few Street Fighter x Tekken tracks on there. Kariu is going through a little trouble right now, but I really hope he goes through it so he can make a part 3. Seriously, his material is really that great! He never disappoints in my eyes especially when it comes to fighting game soundtracks! In all honesty, he should really do all of the OST for fighting games especially the Street Fighter games. I?m surprised Capcom has not yet recognized his work. SMH. If you have it in your heart, please donate to this brotha for putting down some serious work!
